To use the computer, we need a mouse and a keyboard. To paint a picture, we need a paintbrush. To cook dishes, we need kitchen utensils. We don’t just need our hands, we should utilize the tools with them to do our jobs.

Just like this new one coming from Apple, which is the iPhone stylus. A touch screen would always come to a time when it needs its partner back—the stylus. It has a felt tip, too and the feeling of using your own finger is one of its features. However, there are pros and cons in the development of this light pen.
You see, the argument is not about the stylus itself, but the purpose of the iPhone. One of the outstanding features of the iPhone is its liquid crystal display designed exclusively for bare skin. No more having to “pointy-pointy” at the screen with this little thing you always have to place where you can easily get it when you need it again. So if it was made simply for your fingers, why make one?
There is actually a point in making the stylus for the iPhone. Ever had such a sweaty hand that whatever you touch just felt like wiping it with grease? You wouldn’t want to worry yourself for around 30 minutes a day trying to clean the ‘oil’ from your touchscreen, and then 5 minutes later you’d be texting again. Or you might be this type of person who grows nails and don’t want to tap them on the touchscreen, which serves the purpose of the stylus.
