ABRACADABRA bookmark - Squeeze Your Way To the Page
Posted by Luigi | 9:41 AM | Design Concepts | 0 comments »Attention to all authentic booklovers! You might be overlooking this if you simply just crease your book pages with a dog-ear fold to keep track of the last page you’ve read, or place in sticky notes that (eventually) tear up the surface of the page you stuck it to, or putting the old-fashioned bookmarks in between the pages.
Designers Jung-Hyun Lee, Won Sik-Chae & Rhea Jeong have created a sweetly simple but unique way to mark your book called Abracadabra. It is an air-filled tiny container divided into two, half of it flattened by the book’s weight. If you squeeze the other half, it inflates the hidden half inside the book, making it easier to open the page to where it was marked.
Well, to most readers who are lazy enough to put these things in between their book’s pages, they might still consider it for the cutesy and the coolness of the idea.
